TeleCon17 | Day Two Recap

Last year TeleCon16 attendees spoke…

They said they wanted additional opportunities to engage with conference attendees to talk less formally about day-to-day challenges they all face.  Yesterday we brought that feedback to life with the inaugural Group Chat!  Every table in the main ballroom was set up with a topic for discussion, making it possible for people to jump in and out of conversations that were most relevant.  Throughout the two-hour session, comments scrolled on two large screens so people could keep track of the discussions on goals, commonalities and health system type.   » Continue reading

TeleCon17 | Day One at a Glance

Hundreds of patient flow experts gathered at the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass in Chandler, AZ ready to share and network at TeleCon17!  The opening reception provided the perfect setting for people to chat and reconnect.  Check out more photos on Flickr and videos on YouTube (Be sure to read to the end and watch two videos first shared during the first day of TeleCon17.)

The opening session brought attendees together for a morning of inspiration and forward thinking.  Senior Vice President of Marketing, Kris Kaneta set the tone, talking about the triple threat – uncertainty related to reimbursements, tougher resource constraints [financial and staffing], and an aging population.  “Whether you call it a command center, a logistics center, or by some other name, as long as it’s about the patient, it doesn’t really matter,” said Kaneta when referring to the live Command Center set up at TeleCon17.  He also reiterated that TeleTracking is on this patient flow journey with our clients, and that we will never lose sight of our mission – to ensure that no one will ever have to wait for the care they need. » Continue reading
